The glorious wedding of Emily and Steve took place in the idyllic chaulke valley near Salisbury, Wiltshire. The wedding ceremony and reception was held at the stunning Bowerchaulke Barn, a large open thatched roof barn that was creatively decked out for this beautiful occasion.
The bride and groom married in the grounds of Bowerchaulke Barn in the open air, with the magnificent Wiltshire countryside as a backdrop as the ceremony played out, with guests seated on blanket covered hay bales, adding to the rustic charm.
An assortment of freshly hand-made canapes by The Sausage and Mash Company included Petit Yorkshire puddings filled with beef and horseradish, Mango infused chicken with basil and Goats cheese and red onion marmalade on rosemary focaccia commenced the reception proceedings, along with prosecco and elderflower drinks.
The main meal of assorted Pieminister pie platters were placed on decorative tables within the old barn, flavours included British steak and real ale pies, as well as Pumpkin, spinach, sweet potato and goats cheese pies. All served with smooth mash potato and complimented with farmhouse gravy and vegetables.
Guests indulged in The sausage and Mash Companies divine chocolate brownies as a dessert, complete with Madagascan ice cream and fruit.
After Fairtrade tea’s and coffees had been served complete with mint chocolates and speeches had taken place the wedding guests and happy couple picked up the tempo as the evening events unfolded. A live band produced amazing classic tunes as the wedding party danced late into the evening. The Sausage and Mash Company team operated the bar as drinks flowed including local ales and fine spirits too!
Evening food was produced from “Gumdrop” the wedding caterers trusted food truck, a classic vintage vehicle that graced the outside of this beautiful Wiltshire barn. Locally sourced sausages in rolls and Wiltshire chips kept the guests happy as darkness fell on this creative and happy wedding.
Emily and Steve and a majority of the guests retired to a number of beautiful Bell tents that had been put up in the farm field next to the barn, adding to the charm of this wonderful occasion.

A three course meal was hand prepared for the 120 guests followed by locally sourced evening food including our amazing cheeseboards complete with selection of hams and olives.
A truly beautiful venue complimented by a Happy bride and groom who enjoyed the delicious food The Sausage and Mash Company produced for them and their guests.

Starters included Fillet of beef on a goats cheese salad with beetroot.
British steak and ale pies, Chicken, bacon and tarragon pies and Mushroom + asparagus pies. Served with Mash and vegetables.
Desserts were chocolate brownies and Madagascan ice cream.
Evening food from gumdrop the food truck included assorted flavours of Wiltshire sausages in rolls and deluxe cheeseboards.

The Sausage and Mash Company provided all the wedding catering for Emma and Chris Wedding at Ashley Wood Barn, near Salisbury in Wiltshire. An elegant old farm barn set in beautiful countryside with vast amounts of creative flair added by the bride and groom to this rustic yet glamour building.
Catering consisted of assorted handmade mouth watering canapé's on the lawn with reception drinks followed by a wedding breakfast of our delicious pies combined with creamy mash, vegetables and farmhouse gravy.
Desserts included Lemon Posset and Chocolate Brownies with Madagascan Ice Cream.
Evening food was presented from our iconic food truck "Gumdrop" and included three varities of sausages in rolls as well as chips served in cones!
